Mehr-e Vatan to perform at World Choir Games

TEHRAN – Mehr-e Vatan, an ensemble from the southern Iranian city of Kerman, will give performances during the 10th World Choir Games, which will be held in the City of Tshwane, South Africa from July 4 to 14, 2018.

The ensemble led by Masud Nekui plans to give performances in the two sections of folklore and a cappella music, Nekui told the Persian service of ILNA on Sunday.

Mehr-e Vatan also features Aida Iranmanesh, Narges Esmaeili, Samaneh Vaziri, Keivan Bakhtiari, Afshin Hosseinpur, Mohsen Nazarizadeh and Ali Mirhosseini.

Every year, a different country hosts the World Choir Games that is the largest international choir competition in the world.
